
Yesterday, on one of the Oregon coast's last remaining quiet beaches, we stumbled across the ruins of an elaborate sand village. Today, we plan to build our own along the Washington coast.

The Owlhouse manifesto asserts that the kitchen is possibly the best place for family kung-fu or boxing matches and that ginger-mango tea is rarely too fruity.

Thanks ladybug! I was hesitant about braving the coast in the high-traffic season, but it was worth it. Deep pockets of beauty and peace if you can get away from the go-cart, carnival crowd!
