They can't answer our questions of society, nature, spiritually and where they intersect. Still, I can't imagine our images from inside Cliff Palace and Balcony House or cross-canyon views of other alcove communities will gather much dust. We're hoping for an early start tomorrow, a visit to Spruce Tree House, fingers in the steep springs, time to breathe and consider.
